The Full Plot « Thread Started on Dec 31, 2007, 2:39pm »
John Winchester and his eldest son, Dean, pose as Professor Edward Collins and his Student Teaching Assistant John Osbourne at UC Sunnydale, in Sunnydale, California. The two track down and successfully kill the Demon named Shax, after he took three girls captive-taking away their sight, hearing, and understanding. Those girl's names were Sarah Bennett, Blair Haggart...and Dawn Summers. After Buffy Summers (In every generation there is a Chosen One. She alone will stand against the vampires, the demons, and the forces of darkness- More simply put The Slayer.) teamed up with the family duo to save her little ball of light in the form of an annoying sister and two other innocent lives. She thanked the Winchester Men (after they introducd themselves) and the next day they had gone as if they'd never existed at all. Of course, by then Buffy had dropped out, and the only three who were still attending college were witches Tara MaClay (Willow's first non-heterosexual relationship) and Willow Rosenberg and beefcake Riley Finn, who just happened to Also be leading a double life. (as part of a secret government organization known as the Initiative.)
Years went by, and other battles kept both the Scoobie Gang (and it's outcasts) and the Winchester Men busy.
The truth of Dawn's origination had long-since been know-causing a Hell God named Glory (Because Glorificus was to posh) to kidnap the young Summers and use her blood to open a door to make her way Hell Demention Home. Too bad the world was being ripped in every which way it could while the door was open. (not to mention all the creepy crazy people running around) Buffy sacrificed herself to save Dawn and the world. Xander Harris (the group clown) and Anya (The ex-demon-a-couple-of-times who's money hungry and tactless) become engaged, and Spike (the vampire Billy Idol stole his look from-dubbed Big Bad when he first hit Sunnydale) realizes he is in love with Buffy.
Buffy's friends resurrect her through a powerful spell -Buffy returns from Heaven deeply depressed and finds a job at a fast food restaurant while conducting a secret, mutually abusive affair with Spike that later leads to him seeking a soul to be worthy of her love. Her friends are unaware of her inner turmoils as they face their own troubles: Xander leaves Anya at the altar, and Willow becomes addicted to magic. When Tara is killed by a deranged murderer, Willow descends into darkness and begins a rampage that nearly causes the end of the world. In the end it is Xander who reaches through her pain and stops her from destroying the world. (That's right people... the yellow crayon.)
The instability caused by Buffy's revival enables the First Evil (the can't-physically-touch-you-but-still-scary-dead-body-shape-stealing fool named "The First") to amass an army of powerful vampires against humankind, in the process trying to kill every currently-unactivated Potential Slayer. Willow invokes a spell that activates all the "Potentials" in the world, gaining herself a nice role as a Goddess. After an epic battle, an amulet worn by Spike channels energy through battlefield, killing all of the enemies and incinerating Spike. As the Scoobies flee Sunnydale, the town collapses into a crater, its Hellmouth destroyed.
The happy (yet, very...very bored) Scooby gang moves to Italy. Giles trains the young Dawn and ironically Andrew Wells (the demon-summoning younger brother of Tucker Wells-that's right... the hellhoud guy.), Xander, yet again, gets blown off his chance with Buffy, because she's shacking up with the Immortal, and Willow falls deeper into her powers after her new lover is lost in a irresponsible battle with an average vampire. Finally reaching her Goddess spectrum (a much stronger point than the day they cratered Sunnydale), the Powers That Be granted her one wish for using her power for good instead of making the world one big crater too. Being the sarcastic girl she was, Willow spoke before thinking (something that most Scoobies have trouble with), letting the words "Well we never did get to go the SD Mall-On acount'a we did with the imploding Sunnydale, and all...." slip from her mouth, and almost like it had never been gone, the little town was back. To this day, Xander won't let her live down the fact that she wished for Sunnydale. Meanwhile, Angel (Angelus on a too good of a good day and Buffy's first real up and down relationship-in more ways than one) and Spike (who had been sucked into the amulet and spat out in two forms at Wolfram & Hart) were making with their own kind of End Of The World, and bringing their beloved Cordelia Chase (a snobby-wannabe-actress rich girl from Sunnydale, turned into a Higher Being, and much more likable person before passing away) so there wasn't many visits.
Six months after the wishing was over, the Scoobies decided to head back to their missed little town. People had already settled in, and Coincidentally, the Summers residence and Xander's nice little apartment were still under name-they moved right back in. For the next two years, things were quiet-with the exception of a few minor demons and vampires (who "are like fricken Cock-roaches and just won't Die!" as stated by Buffy her first night back out on patrol.) Xander got his company back, Dawn graduated high school and was accepted at UC Sunnydale, and Buffy got her slayer groove back on after the Immortal and her departure.
One more year has passed and things were starting to get back into the habit of how they used to be. (Why you might ask? Well, remember the Winchester men? It's all their fault.) John Winchester was killed in the line of duty, and his two sons completely took over the family business. Sam Winchester (the youngest, and gifted son of John Winchester, and noted by Buffy to be the male version of Willow) managed to get himself killed, so Dean did what he did best and took care of his "Pain in the ass little brother", by making a deal with Azazel (a demon with yellow eyes-the Big Bad in Winchester world at the time)-exchanging his own soul for Sam's life. After successfully killing the demon, they managed to close the gateway to hell that had been opened in the process-it was just too bad that a lot of things from the great beneath escaped. (some heading straight to Sunnydale-tasting the hellmouth resurfacing)
Which brings us to now, as the Scooby gang find there to be a lot of supernatural activity (especially after they thought they had wiped out the area long ago) going on around the rekindled Hellmouth that sat under Sunnydale, California. As things become to hard to handle alone, it is more than noticed that the Scooby gang needed help. (maybe leaving all the potentials in Italy was a bad plan) Angel couldn't lend his hand, because he and Spike were Still being their old selves and now had to deal with one of their own being their enemies. After Gunn (a leader of a street gang whose members protect their neighborhood from vampires turned employee of Angel's) had been killed in the Final Battle- (as most quote it) he had been turned into a vampire and brought down Angel's world. It took almost three months, but finally Angel put him out of his soulless misery, and things were calm there for the while as well. That is, of course, until a few months ago, when Wesley Wyndham-Pryce (a watcher sent to aid Buffy, who was turned down and made his way to Los Angels as a Rogue Demon Hunter, before joining Angel's crew-and even running it for a while-before he stole Angel's only son Connor, got his throat slit, and then went out on his own before Finally mending his relationships and being an Angel Member again-until being killed in that same final battle, and returned to Wolfram & Hart in an incorporail state as set to his contract. *deep breath*) took in all of his darkness, and became the worst threat that Angel and his even shorter list of warriors have ever come to battle with.
So what was the Scooby gang to do? Willow had the answer for that, she she pulled out a slip of paper from her old color-coded college notes with the initial "W" on it and gave Dean Winchester a call. With only a year left to live (as per the deal details with the Yellow Eyed Demon), Dean agrees to drag his brother into yet another hunt, still masking his fear with sarcasm, cheap one night stands, and good ol' fashion lies. Sam, on the other hand, only decides to return after finding out that an ex-watcher and a Goddess (Willow, remember that people...she's no longer just a witch) would be on their side- and a sure way to find an end to the deal his brother had made. One thing he didn't expect, was to be so shockingly taken with by a girl named Dawn who had fullly grown into her skin.
