Dawn Rambles, makes extreamly lame jokes when nervous, and squeeks when excited.

Dawn's a stealthy pick-pocket, great with a book, speaks fluent latin, and is an extremly quick learner.

Her sister, her past, cute boys with dimples, and she's a little touchy when the subject of her once being a ball of light comes up.

__History;;

Dawn is 'The Key', a collection of energy transformed into human form by the monks of the Order of Dagon. The monks placed The Key in the care of the Summers and also implanted fake memories into their minds as well as everyone related to them making it seem that Dawn was Buffy's younger sister and that she was always a part of the Summers family. They did this in order to prevent The Key from falling into the hands of the evil hell-goddess Glory. Eventually, Buffy and Joyce discovered the truth and tried to hide it from Dawn but in vain, as Dawn discovers her real identity when she read Giles' diary.

Though Dawn was hurt by the revelation, more pressing issues came to light when Glory acquired Dawn and performed a ritual to make the Key open the doorway to her own dimension. This ritual had the power to destroy all dimensional barriers, unleashing all kinds of demons into the Buffy's world. The ritual would also destroy Dawn. To stop the ritual, Buffy sacrificed her own life in order to save that of Dawn's and the other people in her world whom she loved so much.

Soon after her death, the Slayer was resurrected back to life by Willow and the Scoobies. The Summers sisters were reunited, and Dawn was recovering from the tragedy when she realised that the Buffy who had been brought back from heaven was somehow a different person, she was a detached and distant person. Dawn temporarily resorted to kleptomania in order to escape her reality but was soon cured when this issue came to light.

When The First Evil resurfaced on earth and threatened to open the Sunnydale Hellmouth and destroy the world, Giles and the Watcher's Council sent Potentials(inactivated slayers) to Sunnydale so that they could be trained by Buffy to face the near Apocalypse. The Scoobies had always speculated that someday, Dawn would replace Buffy's place as the Chosen One. Things came to a head when one of Willow's conjured spells falsely pointed to Dawn being a Potential. The Scoobies put the young girl on a pedestal of sorts, only to embarrass her later when they discovered their mistake. Nevertheless, Dawn didn't hold a grudge against live over this...not for long anyway!

Dawn supported Buffy and the Potentials in their preparation for the final battle. She grew close to Andrew(the last of the geeky triumvirate) and Amanda, (a Potential who would die in the battle against the hordes that came out of the hellmouth when it opened).

After Sunnydale was destroyed due to the sealing of the hellmouth below it, Buffy and the Scoobies were left homeless and then relocated to Europe. Dawn lived with Buffy in Rome for a while, she grew more independent during this particular time period. After Willow making an amazingly un-realistic wish, the entire crew headed back home to good old Sunnydale where Dawn Graduated high school, and is now a freshman in College at UC Sunnydale.

Looking down at her hands, she realized what the warm liquid was. She hadn't wet herself in the fear, she hadn't been pushed into the warm water that awaited her only feet away in the form of a bath. Her crimson fingers covered her stomach, as she slid down that bathroom door. Her sister's voice heard from just the other side, but she couldn't feel Dawn's pain. She couldn't hear her silent screams, as she laid there on the tiles of baby blue and white. A heavenly scent of Vanilla and blood filling her nostirls, as she looked up at her captor.

Funny thing about Ghark Demons; They could be anyone they wanted to be.

Dawn's bright blue eyes grew wide, looking on the face of Spike, his eyes black as cole and his smile piercing her heart as a pool of her crimson fill, spread around her as if to play a beautiful paint.

"Blood..." He smiled, bending down into a squat. His smirk, shining from ear to ear as he stared her down. His finger pushing it's self in that pool around her, before lifting it to his lips for a sweet taste. The vampire's eyes closed as the blood touched his lips, and as he took a breath in, the rough peach skin gave away patches of gray scales.

"Tastes like Red, luv." He smiled. Dawn's whitering breath could be heard, gaining it's power from her fear and her lip quivered to the shape of her sister's name. Spike placed his finger over her lips, spreading the untasted blood and saliva against her face, and keeping her from calling out for the slayer.

"Uh, uh uh... we wouldn't want big sis ruining this moment, now would we, niblet? You're gonna want to enjoy your last few breathes. Let's not waste them on The Slayer." Spike's voice rang, before finally removing his finger from her lips.

"...You're not Spike." Dawn growled, as a small trail of blood seeped from her lips. The demon shook his head, almost in disappointment that her last few breathes were nothing mroe than stating an over-obvious case.

"No, kiddin." He snapped, reaching down and grabbing her by the collar of her shirt. She could feel a piercing pain as she was yanked to her feet; her wound being torn apart and the cool air hitting it almost as sharply as the blade he'd use to cut her open in the first place.

"Now, lil' bit, You're gonna give a message to the slayer for me. Somethin's comin, something big, and they've got a taste for blood." The demon leaned in, taking in Dawn's scent, before letting his lips rub across her cheek. His breathing was heavy against her neck, and before she could even fall into disgust, he'd let his tongue taste the corner of her lip's blood.

She could hear him laugh, as he leaned away from her, his hands still tight on her shirt.

"You wanna taste blood?" She asked, her voice growling silently, before taking all that she could and spitting her crimson in his face. As the demon closed his eyes, Dawn gathered all of her strength to lift her leg and plant her knee in his groin, before letting out a call for help.

"Buffy!" she screached, as she watched the demon pull back from her. Dawn Dropped to the floor with a hard crash, but her rest didn't last. As she heard the footsteps closing in on their location, and her name onher sister's lips, the demon grabbed her by the throat and lifted her from the ground. She scratched her toes on the tile, as she used her arms to keep herself from choking, as the demon took it's true form.
