The Rules;;
This board is rated from PG-13 to R. If you are under the age of 15 and/or are offended easily by mature language, sexual nature, and adult content, please do not participate. This is your only Warning. If you are emotionally harmed by this site, we will not be held responsible.

These rules are your first and last warnings. If you disobey them, heed will not be taken in punishment.

General;;
001. Staff Members are here for a reason. Whatever they say goes, and that's the final word. They do, however vow not to misuse their powers, and that will be held to them.

002. Image and Font Sizing are important on this site. Therefor, I am setting a limit. All avatars (be it signatures, post headings or otherwise) must be 100x100. I would like to keep font sizes set at 1 when posting (this is already the default font). I will not accept any font size to be over the default (this means size 2 or higher), unless it is a heading for your post. Banners may be no wider than 320. Anything larger, stretches the page.

003. Spamming will not be tolerated period. Any spam post, will result in the user having a 1% warning increase, and their post deleted. Spam stands for Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages.

004. Applications will either be accepted or denied. If denied, you have the opportunity to fix anything and re-try, and our admins will help by giving you some pointers. If you are denied three times, your application will be permanently denied.

005. At this time I will not be setting an active word limit feature. I am, however, requiring that you post at least four descriptive and well written posts. If, over time, I see that a word limit feature is needed- I will set up the code. This means, you will not be able to post until you have reached 420 words, because the "post message" button will not appear. There is currently a 'word count' feature that will show up just under the preview and spellcheck buttons. I suggest you use this and keep in mind that anything less than 315 words will get this site a word limit.

007. Do not claim a celebrity before your application has been accepted. You may reserve a celebrity, though for up to 24 hours. And use your brain-if a character is canon to this site, you may not use them for your original.

008. If you are not going to role play, don't post in the Rp sections. It's simple. It ruins the Rp, and sometimes kills it. If you have to talk OOC, and people often do, it will only be accepted if it's in [brackets] or (parenthesis) and set down at the bottom right hand of your post. That means [right]occ text[/*right ] must be used.

009. God-modding and Cybering are not allowed on this board. There are exceptions to this rule, but they are only as follows. If you are going to god-mod you must have the person of whom your are playing with's permission over their character. The second chance for that is if the other character belongs to you. Now for Cybering. If you must do anything that may be offensive, please mark your thread "NC-17" or "Private".

010. Grammar and Spelling is important. The Spell Check is there for a reason, and please read over to make sure you're using the right contractions, possessive pronouns, and adverbs. Staff members may ask you to change these if they find enough reasoning. Do as they say.

011. I hate to even have to put this as a rule, because it should be common sense. Theft, racism of any kind, bashing, and threats are not permitted on this site, unless it is in Character form- and even then there are guidelines to follow. Anyone who shows any of these aspects, will be banned. I don't care if it's a private joke between to old friends, do not do it on this site. I will not tolerate a space where other writers cannot feel comfortable simply being here. Consider this your only warning.

012. Advertising is allowed on this site. If you wish to bump your thread, you may. However, you must wait at least twelve hours before doing so. If you wish to affiliate, please post your advertisement in the affiliation board, and leave a button (the size of the Brentwood University affiliate button) and a link to your site at the end of your post.

013. Do Not bug people about replying to a thread. I don't care if they mind or not, it makes certain people uncomfortable. Members, including Staff, have lives outside of the Rp World. Please, take that into consideration.

014. If at any time you'd like to have your character killed, Celebrity change, Name Change, if you're Dropping the character, etc; this may be arranged. Please, contact a Staff Member and they will assist you. There will be no hard feelings, so please, do not be afraid to let us know.

Joining and Role Playing;;
001. I shouldn't have to say this, but no chat speak when posting in character. If I c ne thng lyk th!s, I will have to give you a 2% warning.

002. All posts must be in third person, unless your character is speaking about themselves. All thoughts should be in italic, but the way you represent your quotations is completely up to you. Also, IcedBrisk has nothing to do with the password. Please, read on...

003. Do Not Multi-Color your posts. Again, you may represent your quotations in anyway you desire, but do not have more than two colors. The other color, being the default or black. No exceptions. Please, do not use light blue (or like) font. It will be difficult to see with the default skin.

004. Racism, sexism, and religion based issues are serious deals, and although I do not support any of these the truth is they are topics of real life. You may have your characters be these things, but lets keep them to respectable standards. No skin color, or religion bashing, and if you're going to use certain words that are normally used to discriminate toward women or men, please use them openly for both sexes. No N, H, or C bombs. I mean it.

005. Staying active is going to be a large part of this board. No one is forcing you to post everyday, but I do require at least two posts a week (per character). Canons, however is a different story. Canon Characters must be active. This means when you log in everyday, actually post.

006. Which brings me to Character Limits. We will be starting off with a maximum of two characters per person and each character must have their own account. Of course, everyone will be starting off with One character. When you reach the posting limit of twenty posts, you may have another. If later on you wish to have a third, PM a staff member and we will monitor your posting and skills, and see if it is best for the board. This rule does Not apply to Staff.

007. When posting your application, please have your character's last name first and in capital letters, followed by their first name. For an example, please look at a staff member's Character Bio. The password is CandyApples.

008. Do Not Change the Application Format. This is considered a serious rule on this board. At the bottom of the Application Preview, there is a code to use as guideline. Copy it, Paste it, Use it.

009. No Mary-Sue's, Gary-Stu's, or Captain Bateman's. No one is perfect, no one is immortal. Everyone has flaws, weaknesses and deformities whether it be physical, emotional or otherwise. Of course, do not put your character through something that will have them in a nuthut. Bland is good sometimes, but spice it up a little.

010. Celebrity Portrayal only. Alexander "Alexheartbreaker" Evans, is not a celebrity. Celebrities include Professional Models, Actors/Actresses, Musicians and Scene Models (such as Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Kitching, etc.) Portrayals such as MySpace, Facebook, your Hot Neighbor and Yourself are not allowed.

011. You may not be someone's boyfriend/girlfriend, wife/husband, sister/brother, mother/father or ex without their permission. (unless it is part of the canon list) And if they okay it- you still have to have your application approved!

011. No reserving or "To Be Continued" posts. If you have something to post, then post it. Do not take up a reply and make people wait for you to finish before they can post. These will be deleted and you will get 1% warning added. The only exception to this rule, is if you are in the middle of typing. You may put "This Space Is Reserved, Because I'm Typing" or something along the lines of that, but you have a limited time to do so. If there are any complaints, your post will be removed and you will get your warning.

012. In the past Pregnancy has seem to become an issue. If you wish your character to be pregnant, please contact a Staff member. Understand that we have the right to deny your request for any reason at all. However, if we do decide it is alright for your character to be with child, we're going to be the ones to pick the sex. You do not get to choose in real life, this just makes it more realistic. Also, you can not have a pregnant character one week, and a two year old the next. Nine months Rp time will be three weeks time in real life (and you must be active for these three weeks).

Cbox;;
001. Use Alias'. Some people do not want everyone to know who they are. If you are unsure, just use the Alias they have stated on their Character Application, their Character Name, or the name that they are using in the cbox.

002. Cursing is fine, just don't take it to an Extreme. Let's not have a remake of Cabin Fever by making every other word 'fuck'.

003. No Roleplaying in the Cbox! None.

004. No Advertising in the Cbox! There is an Advertisement Board. Use It!

005. Absolutely No Racist, Sexist or Religion-based Comments in the Cbox. Let's keep it Friendly, people.

006. Stay Safe. Do not give out Personal information in the cbox, or anywhere on the internet for that matter. To get into the Pending Applications section, you will need to put demon to enter the board. Thank you for reading, you're ten kinds of awesome.

007. Do not bug people in the cbox about replying to threads. If you're going to talk about an open thread, only mention it once, and tagging is also fine.
